Private Lessons
Learn to dance like the city is watching.
One-on-one or with a partner — salsa, bachata, and kizomba lessons built entirely around you, your music, and your goals. No crowded group classes, no fixed schedule, no pressure.
Lessons that come to you
Los Angeles is not a city that makes anything easy — least of all a commute to a dance class. So we flipped it. Your instructor comes to you, anywhere in LA, with the music and the plan. Prefer a proper sprung floor and mirrors? We’ll meet you at one of our partner studios in North Hollywood or Studio City instead. Either way, the lesson is one hundred percent yours.
Three styles, one goal: get you moving
Salsa for energy and flash. Bachata for connection and play. Kizomba for smooth, grounded calm. Learn one deeply or sample all three — your lesson plan follows your curiosity, not a fixed syllabus. Every lesson ends with you dancing to real music, because that’s the whole point.
For every body and every love story
Lead, follow, or learn to switch — your dance, your call. Our floor is proudly LGBTQIA+ inclusive: dance with whoever you love, however you love, and we’ll meet you exactly where you are.
Questions
Good to know.
I have two left feet. Can you really teach me?
Yes — total beginners are the heart of what we do. Private lessons mean nobody is watching, nothing is rushed, and every step is broken down until it feels natural. If you can walk, we can get you dancing.
Do I need a partner?
Not at all. Come solo and your instructor partners with you the whole lesson. Come as a couple and you both learn together — same lesson, same price.
Where do lessons happen?
Wherever works for you: your home or backyard, your event venue, or one of our hourly partner studios in North Hollywood or Studio City. We teach across greater Los Angeles, including the San Gabriel Valley — Pasadena, Alhambra, and Arcadia.
Which style should I start with?
If you want the classic LA social scene, start with salsa. If you love slower, closer, more musical movement, bachata. Kizomba is smooth, grounded, and addictive. Not sure? Tell us what music you love and we’ll point you right.

The dance lesson is one of a kind Avissh is a great instructor who knows how to ease you into the routine and gives you that one on one attention to help you get better. Would definitely recommend for anyone considering to take dance lessons doesn’t matter if you have experience or not Avissh will get you comfortable
We had a lovely time at this private dance lesson! Avissh was an awesome instructor and really broke all the steps down so they were easy to learn. He taught us a few steps of the tango, salsa, and Bachata and gave us a bit of history of them. We really liked how he would give us pointers as we were practicing too. Highly recommend this experience!
Really great class! Avishh broke everything down so the steps were easy to learn and piece together. If you're at all interested in learning partner/ballroom dance, I would highly recommend this experience!
