Salsa Dance LA ("we," "us," or "our") operates salsadancela.com (the "Site"). This policy describes, in plain language, what information we collect through the Site and how we handle it. The short version: we collect what you give us on the booking form, we use standard analytics to understand how the Site is used, we never sell your information, and we don't use advertising cookies.

1. Information you give us on the booking form

When you request a session through our booking form, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email address, the service you're interested in, your preferred dates and times, party size, where you'd like the lesson to happen (a partner studio, or your neighborhood or venue if we come to you), and any notes you add. The form also records some booking context — the quote shown to you, the page you first landed on, the site that referred you, and campaign tags if you arrived from a link that carried them. We use this to respond, schedule, and understand which of our pages lead to bookings.

2. How booking requests are stored and delivered

Booking requests are stored in our database, hosted by Supabase, and a notification email is delivered to us through Resend, an email delivery service. Both providers process this data on our behalf to make the booking flow work; they don't use it for their own purposes.

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-GYGZ110KTK) to understand how visitors use the Site — which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located, and what kind of device and browser they use. To keep pages fast, the analytics script loads a few seconds after the page finishes loading (or on your first interaction). Google Analytics sets cookies to recognize repeat visits. We use it for site measurement only: we do not use advertising features, ad-targeting cookies, or remarketing, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising. You can block analytics with browser settings or Google's own opt-out tool, and the Site works fine either way.

4. Information you send us directly

When you contact us by phone, text, WhatsApp, or email, we receive the information you choose to share — typically your name, contact details, and lesson preferences. We use it only to respond, schedule, and deliver the services you request. Messaging services you contact us through (such as your phone carrier or WhatsApp) handle your messages under their own privacy policies.

5. Technical logs

Our hosting provider, Vercel, may process standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and request data) as part of serving the Site securely and reliably.

6. How we use and share information

We use your information to respond to you, schedule and deliver lessons, and improve the Site. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers named above, which process it only on our instructions.

7. How long we keep it

Booking requests and correspondence are kept only as long as needed to manage our relationship with you and to meet ordinary business and legal record-keeping obligations.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time — email info@salsadancela.com and we'll take care of it. California residents may have additional rights under applicable privacy law; contact us and we will honor them.

9. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience. Lessons for minors are always arranged with, and through, a parent or guardian.

10. Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date before those changes go live.
