Why we skip the studio
Most dance studios ask you to fight traffic, follow their schedule, and learn in a room full of strangers. We built Salsa Dance LA the other way around: one instructor, fully focused on you, in the place where you're most comfortable. Your living room in Alhambra. A backyard in Pasadena. A rented floor in North Hollywood. The venue where you'll say "I do."
When you want mirrors and a proper floor, our hourly partner studios in North Hollywood and Studio City are ready. When you'd rather the lesson came to you, it does — anywhere in greater Los Angeles.
What we teach
Salsa — the heartbeat of LA's Latin nights. Bachata — close, playful, and musical. Kizomba — smooth, grounded, and impossible to stop once you start. Whether you're preparing a wedding first dance, planning an unforgettable date night, or finally learning the dance you've always wanted, every lesson is private and built around you.
Who we teach
Everyone. First-timers and returners, solo dancers and couples, every age and every body. Lead, follow, or switch — our floor is proudly LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and dance partners are whoever you love dancing with. The only requirement is wanting to move.
