Who teaches
Salsa Dance LA opened in 2021. Its founder and lead instructor, Avissh Trivedi, has taught since 2012 — he started at Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Las Vegas, taught ballroom and Bollywood at Elite Dance Studio, and ran the Euphoria Dance LA wedding studio in Los Angeles for seven years (2017–2024) before this.
Hundreds of students later, Avissh still teaches, and every instructor on the team is trained by him. In LA he has taught film and TV industry clients, including directors and writers from major productions. Read Avissh’s story →
Why we skip the studio
Most dance studios ask you to fight traffic, follow their schedule, and learn in a room full of strangers. We built Salsa Dance LA the other way around: one instructor, fully focused on you, in the place where you're most comfortable. Your living room in Alhambra. A backyard in Pasadena. A rented floor in North Hollywood. The venue where you'll say "I do."
When you want mirrors and a proper floor, our hourly partner studios in North Hollywood and San Gabriel are ready. When you'd rather the lesson came to you, it does — anywhere in greater Los Angeles, from Burbank and Toluca Lake to the San Gabriel Valley.

Whether you're preparing a wedding first dance, planning an unforgettable date night, or finally learning the dance you've always wanted, every lesson is private and built around you.
Who we teach
Everyone. First-timers and returners, solo dancers and couples, every age and every body. Lead, follow, or switch — dance partners are whoever you love dancing with. The only requirement is wanting to move.
